The Father’s Eyes

I’ve been focusing on staying connected with the Father’s heart and being His heart to the one in front of me. It’s how I’ve defined success for myself.

What that creates in your life, is that you begin to see people with the Father’s eyes and start to see the one in front of you the way He does.

I believe the Father sees you all the time with eyes of love, grace, and mercy. I believe that if you are far from Christ, He sees you with these same eyes and longs for you to come back to Him- to simply be loved by Him, what you are made for. I believe that if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that the Father sees you hidden in Christ- in complete right standing, holy, and blameless. Because Christ died as you and gave you His life as a ransom to be in right standing with the Father, the Father doesn’t see your sin because it has been dealt with. Period.

The Father can only look at you with eyes of love, grace, and mercy because that is who He is. It is His kindness that leads to us changing from our self-centered ways of controlling our lives, to seeing His kindness and releasing our lives to Him because He is so worthy.

He is a good Father who loves all of His children. We look like our Dad because we are made in His image- and we are to look like His love because that’s who He is and who we were made to be. We are made to be loved by our Father who loves us way more than we can possibly know.

I hope that encourages someone today! Be loved, beloved.

Love,

-Paul
